Training Guidelines, Firearms Safety Policies, and Eligibility Requirements

At Eight Point Solutions, we are committed to providing a safe and effective learning environment for all students. Our training guidelines, firearms safety policies, and course eligibility requirements ensure consistency and security across all programs. These policies and procedures apply to every training course we offer, supporting our dedication to excellence in professional training.

  1. Eligibility Restrictions: Individuals convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude are not eligible to participate in our training. Those subject to a protective order from any U.S. jurisdiction are also prohibited from attending our courses.

  2. Firearms and Ammunition: Live ammunition and loaded firearms are strictly prohibited in all training areas unless actively engaged in a supervised exercise. Only factory-manufactured ammunition from reputable brands (e.g., Remington, PMC, Fiocchi) is permitted; reloaded or hand-loaded ammunition is not allowed.

  3. Firearms Safety Compliance: Students must adhere to all basic firearms safety rules at all times. Any neglect of these rules or careless handling of firearms will result in immediate dismissal from the course to ensure the safety of all participants.

  4. Substance Prohibition: Any student suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be immediately dismissed from the course, with no refund provided. Zero tolerance for substance use is enforced to maintain a secure training environment.

  5. Safety Incident Reporting: Students must promptly report any unsafe activities, conditions, or equipment malfunctions to the instructor or training director to ensure a safe and controlled environment at all times.

  6. Respect for People and Property: All students are required to treat Eight Point Solutions LLC’s property, instructors, and fellow participants with the utmost respect. Any form of disrespect or misconduct will result in corrective action or possible removal from the course.

  7. Pregnancy Policy: Pregnant students may not participate in any courses involving firearms training or physically strenuous activities to prioritize their health and safety.

  8. Accommodations for Disabilities: Students with physical disabilities should notify the instructor in advance so that reasonable accommodations can be arranged to facilitate their full participation in the training.

  9. Academic Integrity: Cheating on any practical or written tests is strictly prohibited. Students caught cheating will be immediately dismissed, and a report of the incident will be submitted to the relevant regulatory agency.

  10. Attendance Requirements: Full attendance is mandatory for each training session. Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late will be marked as absent, which may impact their certification eligibility.

  11. Confidentiality of Training Materials: All training materials provided by Eight Point Solutions LLC are proprietary. Students are not permitted to reproduce, share, or distribute these materials outside of the training environment.

  12. Photography Guidelines: Photography or video recording during class is not allowed unless explicitly approved by the instructor or training director. This policy protects the privacy of participants and the confidentiality of training content.

  13. Dress Code: Appropriate attire for training sessions, especially when at indoor shooting facilities, includes a crew neck shirt, hat, pants, belt, and closed-toe shoes. This dress code is designed to ensure safety and professionalism.

  14. Refunds and Rescheduling Policy: Refunds are not available for training courses. However, students may reschedule their course to an alternative date if necessary, provided they notify Eight Point Solutions LLC in advance.

  15. Requests for Exceptions: Any requests for exceptions to these guidelines must be submitted to and approved by both the instructor and the training director on a case-by-case basis.

  16. Rule Enforcement: The instructor and training director reserve the right to determine violations of these rules and take appropriate action, including dismissal from the course if necessary, to maintain a safe and professional training environment.
