American Red Cross CPR / First Aid / AED Certification
At Eight Point Solutions, we deliver American Red Cross-certified training in CPR, First Aid, and AED, equipping you with critical life-saving skills for medical emergencies.
This course covers:

Maryland Wear and Carry Course
This state-mandated two-day course provides comprehensive instruction for individuals seeking a Maryland Wear and Carry Permit.
Day One includes classroom training on firearm safety, Maryland firearms law, self-defense principles, and use-of-force policies.
Day Two features live-fire range qualification, requiring a minimum of 70% accuracy from 15 yards using practical shooting drills. Designed for responsible handgun ownership, this course equips participants with the legal knowledge and hands-on skills needed for safe, effective concealed carry in Maryland.
Maryland Initial Security Guard Certification Training
At Eight Point Solutions, we deliver state-approved Maryland security guard training designed to get you certified fast.
Our 12-hour Initial Guard Card course covers legal authority, emergency protocols, de-escalation, and report writing, giving you the tools to operate with professionalism and confidence.
Led by veteran instructors and structured for flexible scheduling, our program is the trusted path to earning your Maryland Guard Card certification.
Maryland Renewal Security Guard Training
Renew Your Maryland Guard Card with Our State-Approved 8-Hour In-Service Course
Eight Point Solutions provides the mandatory 8-hour in-service training required every three years to renew your Maryland Guard Card.
This state-approved course ensures compliance with Maryland Police Training and Standards Commission guidelines.
Our renewal program reinforces core competencies, legal authority, use of force, de-escalation, and effective communication, keeping you certified, confident, and mission-ready.
OC Spray, Baton, and Handcuffing Certification
This hands-on course trains security professionals and law enforcement personnel in the proper use of OC spray (Oleoresin Capsicum), straight batons, and handcuffing techniques within legally compliant defensive tactics.
Students will learn:
OC spray deployment, effects, and decontamination procedures
Baton handling, strikes, and defensive positioning
Safe and lawful handcuffing methods for suspect control
Designed to maximize officer safety and reduce liability, this course emphasizes real-world application and legal standards for use-of-force.
Pistol Fundamentals
This foundational course delivers essential pistol training for new and intermediate shooters.
Students learn core skills including proper stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, and safe firearm handling.
